Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 made its impressive debut in India on April 23, 2018. The handset brandishes powerful specs and has a 'disruptive' retail price in India. Asus is making an all-out pitch to take on Redmi Note 5 and Redmi Note 5 Pro as they are currently at the top when it comes to affordable phones under Rs. 15,000. 
The thing that really impresses in Asus Zenfone Max Pro is its performance. It employs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 636 mobile platform which is known for its powerful performance and power efficiency. The 14nm based chipset has 8 Kyro 260 cores ticking at 1.8 GHz. Asus is currently offering the Zenfone Max Pro M1 with 3GB / 4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage. The phone comes with a dedicated microSD card slot, therefore, you can easily bump up the storage as per your requirement.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 houses a full HD+ display on top which has an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is bright, offers decent contrast and good color reproduction capabilities. Asus has snapped a 2.5D glass on top which certainly ensures that it looks trendy enough to appeal to youngsters. 

In optics, Asus has packed a dual camera setup where 13-Megapixel is paired with a 5-Megapixel depth sensor for blurry background images. It also features an 8-megapixel camera on the front for selfie lovers. The phone is aided by a 5000mAh battery which can easily last for more than a day of moderate to heavy usage. 

Another major highlight is the software of the phone. The Zenfone Max Pro M1 comes running on Stock Android out of the box. The phone supports Google's Project Treble and Asus has promised that it will upgrade the phone to Android P and Android Q later.
