With these iPhone 6S, Apple has literally said goodbye to industry-standard ‘multi-touch’ panel. The multi-touch panel offers the ability to multiple touches and support features like pinch to zoom. However, with a new 3D touch – a pressure-sensitive display, Apple has added an additional dimension to the way we use screens of our phones. Now this display lets you take a sneak peek of a web link with just a light tap without really opening it in a browser.

A9 Processor:
With the new iPhone, it debuts Apple's new 64-bit architecture based A9 chipset. As per the Apple claims, this A9 processor process apps about 70 percent faster than its predecessors. On the other hand, this new chipset clocks even more efficiently while rendering games at higher frame rates.
Camera:
After persisting with its 8MP camera for years, Apple has finally decided to rework on its primary iSight camera. iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus feature an upgraded 12MP which captures about 50 percent more pixels when compared with its elder sibling iPhone 6. Apart from still photos, this upgraded camera is also capable of capturing 4K videos. A cool ‘live photos’ feature is also added which create a 1.5-second video by capturing images before and after user click the shutter button.
The photo quality of the front camera also is improved significantly with the help of an elevated 5MP camera. Apple tries to compensate the front flash with on-screen flash to capture brighter and better selfies. Apple has named this technique as ‘Retina Flash’ and claims that it offers 3 times brighter lighting than a true tone flash.

According to Apple, the fingerprint sensor fitted in iPhone 6S is tweaked to perform two times faster than its precursor.
